The only thing I can think of is DeCoster is going to make the bike whatever Eli wants!
I really like the idea of the Tomac's taking over KTM.The only thing I can think of is DeCoster is going to make the bike whatever Eli wants!
DeCoster/Tomac could be a good thing!
It just sucks...Eli is so Dialed in on the Yamaha.
I also heard an interesting thing that maybe he wants to groom Eli and John to take over the running of the team after Eli retires and DeCoster steps down???
If He can run KYB and a cable clutch and get the motor guys to do some tweaking and tuning, then maybe!
It will be interesting.

A lot of Rumors swirling this early in the season.
But I haven't heard the one of Deegan taking Tomac's seat next year.![]()
I did ....hope you picked tomac again today![]()
Reminds me of the ole saying, if I only had 2 more inches I'd of been a porn star.I did ....
If not, for two bobbles in two races, I'd be sitting in first place looking down on you chumps.![]()

Still not believing it.
I thought he would jump to Team Ducati for a big payout.Eli is after the $$$$ at this point. Smart move at this age.
Hard to help develop a bike that isn't proven yet.I thought he would jump to Team Ducati for a big payout.

The KTM is a proven winner!
KTM runs KYB suspension, I'm sure they can tune the motor to Eli's liking, as far as the clutch...I'm betting they will work around that...maybe end up offering it as an option!
Either way, Eli has tested the bike and I am pretty sure tested everything else he wanted...but if he like the KTM, this could be a good thing!
I hope so at least.
I don't know if this is true unless the AMA/FIM changed the rule. When I was with Honda Racing we had both hydraulic and cable and the riders would switch back and forth depending on what they liked. Hydraulic at that time was not on production CRF's.Still not believing it.
KTM does not offer a cable clutch and cannot put one on a bike unless they offer it stock, plus Eli still is under contract with Monster as an individual and Red Bull sponsers KTM. So one of them has to back out.
