Hi everyone, I am Bobby Payne and I have been coming out to Glamis for the last ten years off an on when I am not deployed. I am currently finishing up my last deployment and will retire next year from the Navy. I wanted to reach out because I started up a coffee brand and I am launching it this summer. The name is "Glamis Coffee". I know everyone here holds Glamis near and dear to their hearts so I am trying to do justice to the name and make this fun and get it right. I am designing the bags right now. One flavor will be focused around the old days as a tribute to OG's. I have seen some pics online from the 70's and 80's but I am not sure if I can use them in this fashion since I don't know who took the photos. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any of the pics from the 60's, 70's and 80's that really capture the spirit of the place, and if I could use the photos to decorate a coffee bag. Even if I can't use the photos at least they can be the inspiration that my artist can work with. Let me know what you think. Thanks
V/r

Bobby is a great guy and any help would be appreciated.
I meet him about 10 years ago. He was stationed in San Diego and he came to Glamis for the first time by himself. I had the projector on my trailer watching football or a movie for the kids. (Cant remember) He saw it like a wash away and came over to introduce himself. I asked him who he was camping with and he said by himself. I told him to grab his stuff your camping with us now. You don't come here your first time or anytime and ride by yourself. We formed a great relationship and have been camping together ever since. He's part of the family. So any help we would be awesome.

Thanks for the love @RIDERED ! I tell you what guys. I had only heard about Glamis from my brother after riding in the Oregon Dunes. He said if you love this then you need to get stationed in San Diego. I did everything I could to get sent from the east coast out to Cali. After I transferred I was headed out to Glamis a few months later. With my 4runner pulling two quads and a tent I settled out by wash 19. I jackknifed by trailer and rig around some trees so no one would run me over that night....lol. My setup has changed a little but this crew took me in and I am forever grateful.

Welcome and thank you for your service. As an Army Vet I’d like to thank you for a boat ride to the war.
