Yeah when i first saw the video i just thought it was some borachos partying on a boat wash style. Giant flag; you can hear the mariachi music blaring in the video. pretty sure it happened around 3am

Watch the videos. They were acting like there was a circus onboard. There were a bunch of doods standing and prancing around up in the sail rigging in the masts when it hit the bridge. Many fell. Im sure some hit the water and some hit the deck

So the working theory is that the reversing propeller failed. The tug pushed it out into the channel, relocated to swing the ship around at the time the ship was supposed to go from reverse to forward.
