Supercross/Outdoor Motorcross

Grats to Webb, not many have won the SX 3 times, limited club

This whole thing with Tomac reminds me of when Honda let McGrath go...dude was winning everything.
Then he bounced from Suzuki to Yamaha and it all seemed a little lack-luster after leaving Honda! He did win 3 championships with Yamaha though.
Jeremy even said regarding Honda, why change the bike...we are winning.
For Yamaha to let go of someone like Eli is insane. He is so dialed in on that bike!
Gonna be interesting if he goes to KTM. They run the KYB suspension (Chase runs that), will they do any motor work for Eli, will they put in a cable clutch??

Can't wait for outdoors!

Frenchy did pretty good in SX but bummer he is the 1st out of MX

I believe the rules are that if the bike comes with a choice of types of clutch you can choose what you want Hydro / cable, If it only comes with a Hydro set up you cannot install a cable.

Eli has said in multiple interviews he hates the hydro and will not ride a bike with one. He unlike most of the other riders wants more power available, most of them are de-tunning the bike so they are more manageable, If they won't boost his power he won't be riding that bike for long. That was part of his issue for going to Yamaha.

Jett
Sexton
Tomac
Hunter
Cooper

WC= Anderson

Book it now fellas

So, here's a crazy thought.
It seems Everyone is on hold till Sexton Makes a change, possibly to Kawasaki??
If that happens, there s a good chance Tomac would go to KTM with Plessenger and Vialle as the 450 group and Baumer as the 250 guy.
If Sexton stays at KTM, that forces Eli to possibly go to an un proven Ducati platform and have to start from the ground up.
Sexton knows he can win on KTM. Jett and Tomac and Webb are really his biggest rivals...you think Sexton tries to stay with KTM just to screw over Tomac?

Effing Yamaha...just keep the Beast! This could be legendary!

I don't think Eli will end up on the KTM because of the clutch. Only Yamaha & Suzuki are currently offering the cable clutch set up. Going to an unproven platform doesn't seem likely to me but you never know.

Help me out here. Why is Eli moving away from Yamaha? Contract up? Couldn't he just sign another 1 yr with them.

I know everyone says Deegan is moving up to 450 SX next year, why? Does he have to per SX rules?. Stay in 250 SX one more year where he is dominate and defend his championship. All while getting one more year of SX experience.

If I were Tomac and on the verge of retirement, I would easily take a contract with Ducati for a boatload of money. He doesn't have a reason not to. Not like he's going to break any records by staying with Yamaha.
