The last Saturday in February was always a good weekend to have an event. Maybe bring back the Golf Tourney ?I think we can do this.. lol. I’m not scared of a party! Or hosting one!
Let’s find a random not popular date and do it!
(Pay attn to the times if posts though.. no bitching about late night shit).

Wasn't ready to get the cat outta the bag yet but the Golf Tourney is already in the works for the last weekend in February. I talked to @Chummin about a month ago when we were ready to put wheels in motion and got his blessing. Already pulling the SRP with BLM and all that. Count on 2/22/25If anyone wants to volunteer hit me up. It'll be as epic as ever

You have to get permission from the BLM to hit some tennis balls into hula hoops?![]()
Any organized activity out there is supposed to have an SRP, certificate of insurance, etc etc... running the Veterans Day ceremony is the same process as running the Redbull Scramble... my event insurance is a helluva lot cheaper I'm sure, but yea, from the Camp Genesis, MLK Cleanup, Vets, EPOs, Guys Trip, etc etc... and they'll ticket and chance a lifetime ban from ever getting a permit approved if they find you holding an event without one. Doing something in your camp or with your group isn't a big deal but once it makes it to social media and starts getting visibility, rest assured its on BLMs radar these days. Now take any of that to private property (Beach Store, vendors, Boardmanville, etc) and BLM doesn't care a hoot about it because they aren't liable, you just have to work out the details with the property owner at that point. You have to get permission from the BLM to hit some tennis balls into hula hoops?![]()

So something like getting the members together for some beers, I’d need to get a permit?
Something like that you should be fine unless merch is being advertised/sold, etc... any sales automatically lump you into the permit process. There's a handful of things that automatically require it and a lot of things that skirt the edge.So something like getting the members together for some beers, I’d need to get a permit?
