Before i go the facebook marketplace route though I would see if anyone has a junkyard 6.0 Ls they want to sell. Looking for a junkyard one that was running when pulled. I think I'm going to do a bearing refresh and run stock bottom end this season and do a full rebuild next. Willing to buy short block or long block. Or if you know of any trusted sellers on Facebook marketplace I would appreciate it. From what I've seen seems like a lot of potential scammers as sellers.

Good luck. I searched far and wide to get one. Aluminum 6.0 engines seem to be getting hard to find.... iron block on the other hand and pretty plentiful, stronger and weigh 80lb more. Most of us don't want the extra weight though. I'd do a search for pick a part. Some trucks and suvs did have Aluminum block engines. I found one in Ontario last summer but never got around to going and getting it, another one was in san bernardino too, same story, I didn't get to it in time.
