Todays event

Didn’t watch any of it…. Went to the beach instead with our youngest who turns 10 tomorrow. Checked the score every once in a while on google just because.
 
The Game was a snooze fest, The commercials show the clear division of the country. Turned it off at halftime and didn't go back, Who won ?

The Kid Rock alternate show was an average Grammy type of performance, nothing special.
 
My Father in Law is a huge football fan, I cannot avoid it when at their house. As I've gotten older, I have also not seen the value in being vehemently vocal about NOT watching the Superbowl. Either watch it or don't... I have just as much concern for the size of shit someone took yesterday as I do for their choice of how they spent Superbowl Sunday.

FIL made Wings, Tri Tip, Corn, Couscous... and some other stuff. I took the kiddo to the park, watched her put together her new Puzzles, helped her with her Lowes Build and Grow Butterfly house and cleaned up from our trip to the Sierras. I watched parts of the game... wanted to see the Pats lose because they should not have been there. Additionally, Drake Maye is severely overrated and over exposed as someone important (as is his, "5 at best" girlfriend the media has been slamming us with).
 
Game was boring.... Officials were ok for a change, watched the alternative halftime show, a little of it. It Obvious that the NFL views the fans the same as the Dem party views their voters...they aren't going anywhere so they will do what THEY want to to. Goodell wants to expand the NFL WORLD WIDE.....that is is their plan.....so it begins.

Game was good if you like to watch a defense dominate and destroy a QB. Otherwise it was not that exciting.

Not sure how you saw commercials as a showing of a clear division of the country. Most of them were AI companies sprinkled with with the usual beer, chip, food, and soda commercials.

Agreed, SH D handed the P QB his ass the entire game.

The commercials and Halftime show were super tame, not as virtual signaling as I thought they actually could be. All the BS from both sides hyping up this event was comical, even now afterwards both sides still trying to hype up their agendas...lame. I'm so over all that crap.

It was just a game, enjoyed watching it and chilling, eating food at home.


Pulled up the TP Kid Rock show today out of curiosity, got 30 secs into that, then F FWD a few times...nope he still sucks.
 
I had a great Super Bowl party, I saw a minute of that rabbit dude, before anything could get political / divisive I switched it over to King of the Hammers for halftime.
Loved the Budweiser eagle commercial and Zoolander doing a flip off the high dive.
Was hoping for a more exciting game but did appreciate Seattle dismantling New England’s offense.

I agree. Dunkin Doughnuts commercial was funny.

I stopped listening to Kid Rock many years ago, but I did enjoy his role in Joe Dirt. LOL!
