Tires. Where's everyone going?

I need new tires on my 06 Duramax. 285/70/17s. Where's everyone going to for tires these days? I'm not brand loyal. Just a good all-terrain, preferably quiet on the highway.

Might want to mention Where you are at?

i've heard this over and over, my 2 buddies run these and love them
The set I got about 8 years ago was horrendous. I've had my truck for 18 years now and never had a set of tires perform so bad. In rain, they slid like a Pastry Roller over the road, CONSTANTLY losing traction in the rear with any level of moisture on the ground. They were also hard as hell and felt like I was riding a Skateboard with 44 mm wheels, from the early 90's (I have had 3 other sets of E rated tires since the truck was new). They were far cheaper than anything I had bought previously and showed EXACTLY why. I'll NEVER give Falken another penny... they were literally borderline dangerous and should have never been sold to me.

i bought a set of toyo a/t's and had good luck, my same buddy bought a set and they didn't last for crap. he said the same thing about the toyo's felt like it was skating. he took them back and they said just let them break in, he did and it got better but never great. one of the best tires i had was cooper from discount, they wore like steel and rode great. then i put a set on my caddy and they always felt like they had flat spots lol.

Toyo hands down. Bfg’s are by far the most
God awful tires. I bought a sequoia a couple years ago with brand new bfg’s they wont hold a balance are an ok off road tire but due to they wont balance they are LOUD on the road. Cant wait for them to wear out so i can replace them

And what’s your average speed while towing…? :ROFLMAO:
That’s the point, any fukin speed I want. Lol
Bet you keep to the right when you see my grill :ROFLMAO:
Bold statement, care to elaborate? Id love to hear a fanbois explanations.
where’s the fanboi come into my statement?
Stating facts, of real world experience
Toyo’s Iv gone through minimum 10 sets of 35, 37, 40s - excellent wear and towing ability
Nitto’s iv gone through minim 8 sets of 35s and 37s - excellent wear and towing ability
Falkens Iv gone thru 3 sets of 37s - good wear, decently good towing ability, but for daily driver type driving they are much smoother road tire ( over small bump road chatter )
Every single set has gotten min 45k avg 50k miles with zero issues. And we’re talking rotate 1 - 2 times in 50k miles.

The only vehicles iv had tire issues with in the past were trucks that had constant alignment issues. Wasn’t shitty tires, they were shitty trucks
I also had 1 set I got that came apart in months ( toyo RTs ) The dealer was shipped old tires ( 6 years old) and I was at shop when tires got delivered to them so it wasn’t the shop pulling a fast one. They replaced and all good.

Now if you take it personal about you hating nitto’s, and I must be a fanboy ( for tires or trucks, fukifino )
go look in the driveway and realize, maybe, just maybe, you have a shitty truck 🤷‍♂️😂
