Youth sports and school were all on idle this week so we decided to make a quick trip to Yosemite.
Worked Thursday morning ended up leaving Sunny San Diego around noon, fuel and burgers in Bakersfield, more fuel in Mariposa and made it to our room in El Portal round 10pm.

I don’t post much in here so I apologize for typos improper thread placement ect.
I’ll post more pics over the next few days back to work Tuesday.

RAD, Springtime in Yosemite is the BEST time (Before June and schools let out).

We have a trip coming up at the end of May, staying at our favorite spot in the valley.

Keep the pics coming, That hotel is really nice right on the river.

That's where we stay, twice a year. That River view is the only way to go. They also have a game room with Pool tables and a decent indoor pool. In February, they were breaking rocks in the Parking lot, hopefully that's done.

The restaurant is pretty good, we prefer to eat in the Lounge/Bar area though and talk with Michael... one of the long time trail builders. You can probably get pizza now that it's not Winter.

The Chevron down the street from the Hotel has decent snacks if you need them.

Mariposa is a fun town to drive back to and explore in the middle of the day.

Smokehouse 41 in Oakhurst is a MUST to experience.

Have fun! We're still debating joining Crusty and co. in May but we've been spoiled with that Hotel for the past 6 years.

Bubble baths overlooking the Merced for the kiddo... 🤣 ...
