Yep, no problem with the overall design.I just ran into RG last night at dinner (Islands - Anaheim Hills) he was there with his wife and daughter. I stopped by and just said Hello and didn't want to interrupt his time with family.
As it's been messaged already, you have to respect what's he's done and trying to do in our sport, is he the reason Polaris, Can Am and now Kawi upped their game....maybe, I don't think he hurt it! But either way they are all producing better machines.
His sales tactics are unconventional to say the least, but they're building and delivering cars as we speak so something is working. My buddy just picked up his El Jefe, he was one of the original deposits....the cars are built beefy with nice features no argument there. I think it is definitely more of a desert car than say a duner, but that's just my impression after driving it.
Isn't a turd of a different color still a turd?Speed’s new sales tactic.
Speed’s new sales tactic.
It certainly quacks like a turd...Isn't a turd of a different color still a turd?
Was that the “Asian” wife or the Argentina wife or the OC wife?I just ran into RG last night at dinner (Islands - Anaheim Hills) he was there with his wife and daughter. I stopped by and just said Hello and didn't want to interrupt his time with family.

@RiverDave how did the car do post crash turning it in to get checked out? all good now?
Did anything fail, crack, etc?
Talk to Hollander. He has his Speed and a inclosed cab Ranger. You should ask him what he likes. Might surprise you. He’s also working on building nice suspension kit for the Ranger.I thought it had a minor bend in the frame in the middle because it was pushed up.. It turned out the frame had twisted from a right rear roof impact.. Car ended up being totaled because of that..
I'm considering options on what I'm gonna get next. Momma wants an enclosed cab deal with AC / Heat. I'm looking at literally everything (including another new Speed)
RD
not sure if it was just a coincidence havasu thing or not but over xmas-new years 8 day trip saw about 25-30 speeds whipping thu the desert in and around Topock AZ there was a couple of speed only groups and mixed groups with speeds
and a second visual was about the same number of enclosed cab rangers, that actually surprised me the most
good to see them all out and about playing fast/slow
