Was talk to Wes this weekend, and he says there are four turbo Tallon's in his current dune group.

Which one of you guys have one??

And you know the rule...

I believe they are ashamed to say they own one. Another fun fact, im guessing the average age of a Talon owner is over 60 years old.

Why? Most dependable SxS out there. They just look a little funky with the stock cage. A guy on RDP had a cage made that totally looks bad azz. 👍🏼

It works great in Glamis. I have driven Turbo's and non-Turbo's and I would definitely go turbo for the dunes. The transmission works awesome. It knows what to do faster than your brain can think or you can go to the manual paddle shift if you want.
If you were going to use it for hard pack in my opinion you really don't need the turbo. In hard pack the thing is a tractor and will climb anything. I have put one front tire on a tree and it climbed it until I was almost vertical.
If you come camp with us I will give you a ride if you would like. You might have to put up with Cheff though. 😄

I've got a Pioneer 520.....I had to have something 50" wide. I wanted it more for Colorado trails than anything. It was more than a RZR, about 3K more. It won't throw a belt, and it is a Honda. I've only had it about a month. It only has 30HP, and I'm over 60. I've rolled my rail before, and I've been glad that the ATV missed me when it went rolled by me (been there and done that).

I replaced a Rhino and we'll see if it dunes better than the Rhino.

I ran into a Talon at Buttercup's "Wall." I don't remember what he replaced, but he didn't like fooling w/a belt. He drives his exclusively w/the Paddles. I don't like the way the trans shifts via the computer....BUT, I do like it when I'm bogging down and it downshifts, even though I'm driving in Manual.

I might have camped with him once or twice before...
