The goal of the Riverside County Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Site Feasibility study is to find 3 sites that can be considered for development into a public OHV riding area. Depending on funding, it is possible the County may wish to develop two parks with one larger located more to the east and one smaller that is closer to the greatest concentration of OHV users in the western limits of the study area.

It should be noted that this is the first step in a multi-step process. Follow-on steps will include additional public outreach, meetings and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis before a final site is selected.

This web site introduces the site analysis and selection process, but more importantly it provides Riverside County residents with an opportunity to comment on the sites being considered.

Sorry but this is a waste of time.  There was supposed to be a park off the 60 yrs ago. State played all these games then came down to a 10 to 1 mitigation  rule.. THEY WILL NEVER LET IT HAPPEN.   All this is designed to do it waste green sticker time and money.  The state of CA has no intentions of EVER allowing a  park to be built or open. They are actively trying to shut down the ones that are open.

Sorry, but 56 yrs here has taught me that NONE of the people associated with the OHV program in CA can be trusted.

Thanks for posting, would be great to have an OHV Area in Riverside again.

The process may suck, but the Gov. wants this funding as well....more $$ to the machine.

Meh, it'll just get ruined by SXS idiots the way all the other OHVs have . . .

If you looked at each of the maps...one of them was like 70% steep mountain terrain...great for single track :js:

Hungry Valley OHV has gotten crazy/stupid with the SXS crowd...but there is still a large portion of trails they can't even go on.

This is all OUR money from the green sticker program...it will be wasted on "mitigation" land...and lawsuits, which are already being readied with the eco freaks...this is all a dog and pony show....NOTHING will come out of it...just a way to distract and waste time.  Been there...done that.

I looked at all the proposed areas, they seem super small.  Does anyone have anything we can compare with?

There are so many people riding in closed areas by my house, would be good if they had a place to go within 30 miles with their kids to go in circles.

Azusa Canyon OHV is just over 160 acres
