Raise your hand...

If I get there before somebody else I don't care what is being saved, I'll park where I want. Tres tried to pull that shit on me one year... not gonna happen.

Couple of years ago I saw actual fence posts pounded into the ground in wash 6. The way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about someone stringing up some barbed wire.
Some guys parked their trucks right next (tires on top of the berm) to the big ass kiddy track in Wash 6…

Then got mad kids were kicking rocks onto their trucks. Solution? Put a big ass rope across the track… 🤦‍♂️

Next step would be to soak that rope in gas and light it on fire…

Vendor Flats new "Safety pathways" marked in the sand now? This real this season?

Takes away from the "open camping" concept.

I'm not completely opposed to this. Every major weekend you get 1/4 mile into the maze to find it cut off and no way into the dunes... caution tape and dirty looks. MFKers don't know how to keep a lane open. BLM and emergency personnel can't get where they need to to do their jobs. At the end of the day, I'm certain it was done for enforcement, but it will make most everyone's lives easier. People are fucking retarded and need lines to color inside of.

Part of the adventure. Easiest way to deal with the eventual clog for us was to head over to the bushes at the edges of the wash and head out that way. Trying to drive down the “road” into the wash is folly after a bit.

We usually camp the weekend before Thanksgiving and leave Tuesday or Wednesday. It gets spicy trying to leave sometimes. One trip my Jeep pulled every RV in camp other than @Deviantduner and another dude.

Word to the wise: if you drive down a corridor and see people lined up along the sides waving their hands in circular motions and laughing their asses off… Best to either floor it, or turn around. :ROFLMAO:

There are at least two spots I can think of where you are to keep the space open in order to get cross the road and into the dunes.
Access path from the road to dunes is different. Do these access spots cut a large camping area into sections?

Just wondering if the same scenario, does not sound like same. Honest conversation.

Truth is ...

None of us are gonna camp anywhere near that area, so who c what they do there?

Slippery Slope on the path to "Structured" camping areas in the ISDRA

Also true.
