Mother Glamis

Been going since the 80s and never called it “Mother” sounds dumb to me just like “witches eye”. Flame away but they both sound stupid.

This site was dead before Dave bought it and it’s still dead. Might be all the grumpy old men that seem to complain about people being on their lawn.
 
I like the “Mother G” term and respect the dunes as I would my mother.
 
I call it "Mother" G because of respect. I've always respected my Mother because if I didn't, Id get a whooping.... Same with Mother G.... If you dont respect her, She will slap you and screw you up. Karma in Mother G is a real thing

You know, I'm not sure I heard "Mother Glamis" from anyone outside of this particular board, its common here among likeminded folks that care for the area as a special place. Education and conservation of the Dunes were always a part of Slappy's vision and mantra.
 
Mother G demands RESPECT, or you will pay the price.

Just like the W word should not be said out loud.

And saying "pink bunnies" 13 times when the campfire smoke is choking you out.
