Lithium batteries are getting cheap, any recommendations? Also looking for tester.

I dove into reading about lithium batteries, and I feel a little more confused than when I started. I'm not paying a grand for a battery; I want it to be under 200 bucks. It's just for a trolling motor.
I've been reading good reviews for Power Queen, Watt Cycle, Redodo, eco-worthy, and a few other's. Has anybody had any real experience with them? A lot of people are saying to get ones that have a BMS with Bluetooth, but in my mind, that's just more shit to break.
I also want a budget friendly tester so I can check the health and balance of the cells and do a discharge test. Unless Bluetooth is the way to go and the Bluetooth app is enough?
Do you have any suggestions or experience with lesser-known brands, such as generic ones?
I understand the quality of the cells and all the potential problems. Again this is just for a trolling motor but I'll probably convert everything after I figured this all out.
So in summary, I need a good recommendation for a cheap battery and a good tester.
Much appreciated!

I just installed (2) LiTime 12V 100Ah Lithiums on my new IROK and so far everything seems good. I went with the BT version because I'm nerdy and like to see what's happening within the battery itself....pretty cool!!
First time for me as well and this was just done last month so a little early to give a legitimate review but so far so good.

Check out the DIYSolarForum. I taught myself enough about solar to build a "solar generator" battery box thingy.
I came to a conclusion that the Elefast 12.8V 100ah battery would work for what i was doing. Haven't used it much to review it, but it was cheap enough, and I'm cheap.
Ended up using a Licitti box that has the crap built into it, just add battery.

I just did a life po battery 100ah for my boat stereo. Paid 175 delivered. Stereo is an 800 watt system and so far works well.

For charging using the alternator and wire goes to an isolator then one wire to my engine battery the other to the lithium and so far it’s charging good without over working the alternator.

Benefits I was looking at before buying was cost of a lead acid group 27 was 100 bucks at wal mart and I usually got 3 years of use. They are 100ah battery too but you end up only using 50-60 percent of it.The lithium is suppose to last years and can be drained lower and recharged thousands of times.

Will most likely get one for toyhauler soon as my 6 volts finally wore off. Again cost vs longetivity. Pretty sure a 140-150 ah lithium will be the same as the golf cart battery’s.

For your particular application for a trolling motor I would not necessarily go with Bluetooth. I would go for one that has a built-in meter on it and most of those are getting that info from the bms so it should be pretty darn accurate. Who wants to fiddle with their phone just to see where it is at.

You did not mention if you wanted just 100ah or more, but I would go with this 250ah one for under $200 and includes a charger. I don't think you can go too wrong. Sure, it will be a little bit heavier than 100ah and probably about the weight of a lead acid but multiple times more capacity.

Biggest problem I would caution you about in this application is to store it as close to 50% as possible in the off season but you might find other uses for it and the built-in gauge makes it easy. Self-discharges is fairly low but for something used seasonally you don't want to let it sit around long enough to reach zero and leaving it sit at 100 is not great either. Here is one from ali express that is already in the states via a container so it ships from the US so allot faster than from China and no tariff surprises. If you are looking for smaller search 12v Lifep04 and click us shipment only when searching.

I went with whatever my RV buddy suggested. :)
He knows all about those things.
I started out with smaller Lithium, 2 of the 125ah and they died at about 4am from the furnace.
Went to 225ah, 2 of them, and they rock.
I do have solar, 1800 Watts of it, so they stay completely charged during the day.
Did all Victron for Shunt, controller etc.
