I dove into reading about lithium batteries, and I feel a little more confused than when I started. I'm not paying a grand for a battery; I want it to be under 200 bucks. It's just for a trolling motor.
I've been reading good reviews for Power Queen, Watt Cycle, Redodo, eco-worthy, and a few other's. Has anybody had any real experience with them? A lot of people are saying to get ones that have a BMS with Bluetooth, but in my mind, that's just more shit to break.
I also want a budget friendly tester so I can check the health and balance of the cells and do a discharge test. Unless Bluetooth is the way to go and the Bluetooth app is enough?
Do you have any suggestions or experience with lesser-known brands, such as generic ones?
I understand the quality of the cells and all the potential problems. Again this is just for a trolling motor but I'll probably convert everything after I figured this all out.
So in summary, I need a good recommendation for a cheap battery and a good tester.
Much appreciated!
