Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Got a chance to sit in the new KRX....felt nice...really want to see a 2-seater....and hopefully some color options!!

Saw in person for the 1st time, looked it all over and also all the others at various vendors with their stuff on it, wrapped, etc.

Was really comfortable, fit and finish was great, it a well thought out machine 100% for the west coast open desert and sand dunes crowd.

Two seater is coming. Could not nail down a date, but I suspect no later than 3rd quarter 2026, but I also hear as early as 1st quarter 2026.

As far as colors, if you don’t like green I’d wait until January! 🤐

Out of all the Blingy, "I'm better than you because I spend money" UTV's at the show, the Kawasaki in STOCK FORM was far more impressive, than anything on those grounds last weekend (aside from the Sand Cars). We keep going back and forth on buying one but this would be the only machine I would purchase out of them all.

I loved how there were (basically) more Kawasaki's at the show in the first WEEKS of release, than what Speed has been slowly dribbling out. I love to see Robby get fucked by simple numbers, he deserves it 100%. Three companies to keep him looking like the asshole he is... so awesome!

Kawi is super nice in stock form and I see no reason to swap out the cage. Maybe have some build a nice aluminum rood for the stock cage.

Everything on the Kawi as far as after purchase expense is wants, not needs. Radio, air pumper, lights, and paddle tire/wheel set up and good to go.

I never did see the final opinion on if that front cage mount was going to be weak or not? Apparently not. Where was it connected additionally to?

Looked like it connected to a dash tube from what I saw. Really did not dig in and look.

I spent quite a bit of time looking this over and spoke with the Kawasaki guys about it and gave my worthless opinion. One the R&D guy did take a note to share if with production design if they find after in customers hands it become a problem. As he said we can test things 5 different ways, and the customer will find a 6th way we never thought of or tested. I also spoke with Jason Morgan and I’ve talked with Jason Herd, as well and they both agree visually it’s the weakest point on the chassis. But they also think if this is it, then we can work around and fix it. The Kawi is pretty good in their opinion.

The issue is the A pillar chassis mount has no lower vertical tube supporting it. It mounts to a tube as mentioned that crosses from right to left behind the dash/firewall. And there is one tube that acts as the door mount tube that bends forward from the door to intersect that dash/firewall tube where the A piller mounts.

I have a few simple ideas that will help strengthen that area, but it’s not a solid fix, but stronger then it is today. It would be simple to do in chassis manufacturing and cost little to nothing to add. That’s what the R&D guy took the note on. I don’t suspect they do anything with it, but if they have a few consumer cars roll and if the chassis is bent and totals the car because if it, or because that tube bends down in a crash and causes the cage to collapse at that point, maybe they will add the simple tube & gusset I suggested.

It's a good green.....but ALL of them are Green!! :ROFLMAO:

Actually there was a solid white one and a black one at the show! I think there were some others as well?

I don’t have my glasses on so please don’t berate me if I posted the wrong car.. I’m pretty sure this is it

That A pillar has a bent tube above it. Exactly how much vertical force is it gonna see before the A pillar collapses anyway?

If you really want to beef up the A pillar, an FIA bar is needed. Making the A pillar mount stronger isn’t gonna make a huge amount of improvement in actual crash survivability.

Which is what they did for the race concept.

100% Correct the A plus (FIA bar) would help the upper cage immensely, and help the A pillar mount on the chassis. And I know the Morgan car did not have one, but Jason said all his builds do and will, and this was a rush build for the Show. He showed me his idea on where he wants to mount it, and I showed him mine.

Plus it’s just weird how the A pillar tube lays back from the tube connector. Kawasaki said it was done to increase upward visibility when in the sand dunes and going up a hill. Kevin @ T4BB said it’s what people want. They like that laid back lower profile look. Not sure if you were at the show, but there were Can Ams with cages so low it was it was like a chop top hot rod. So stupid!

Look at the tube connector and tube angles.
