The average person has no idea what it would take to build the infrastructure to support 100% EV's. It's not just generation facilities, and wind and solar are not even close to being capable due to being very transitory and disruptive to the grid. Transmission lines, bulk power substations, sub transmission lines, distribution substations, feeder lines, and tap lines will nearly all need to be upgraded and/or new facilities built to meet the demand.

What's ironic is the very same people/organizations demanding the end of fossil fuels are the same people that fight new transmission lines being built to expand the grid. In the name of the environment of course. It's all a joke!
