Part of my backyard build out is a BBQ island. Islands still waiting for the gas BBQ, cabinets and drawers. Those should be installed next week. I did receive the Komado Joe Konnected. It's like a green egg but with added electric features like a fan, built in temp gauges, meat probes etc. it's designed to maintain its own temp, connect to my phone, adjust from my phone if need be and so on. Picked up a Santa Maria seasoned tri tip last night. Never cooked on one of these before so figured this would be a good starter. Picked up some lump charcoal and will get this party started.
