What do you remember and when was it?

My first time to Boardmanville was with my friend Brian. Jeannie called him 2 Beer Brian.
For obvious reasons, Brian only has two beers when he would visit.
Anyhow, Chuck had passed and Jeannie needed help getting a diesel powered generator running. This was a big unit. 200+ Kw Detroit Diesel 12V71. I happened to be a Detroit mechanic and when Brian asked I said sure.
We traveled out and got onsite. Met Jeannie for the first time. She showed me the unit on a trailer out back of the bar.
I went to work. About an hour in I could tell it was going to need a major rebuild. The engine was locked up. Probably from rain getting into the exhaust.
Sat with Brian and Jeannie, got my free beer and gave her the news.
It hasn't run in years she says and Chuck was the only one who knew how to run it.
So there it sat and unfortunately got ruined.
She passed on any repairs and we called it day.

This was 2002-3 ish.

We used to go to Boardmanville when you could still pull your whip down and ride under the tracks on a quad, it was wash 10 I think. 2003 or 2004 probably.

I remember the night @Chummin was So wasted...

We taped his hands to the handle bars of his quad, had him take off in 2nd gear, and escorted him all the way back to wash 13.5.

Slow going, but we made it! 😁😁
