I follow oil prices among other commodities to try and learn a bit about the business. WTI (Texas oil) was $64-$67 a barrel before the Iran war. It jumped up to $85 a barrel within a day and with news of the new supreme leader, Khomeinis son, being elected today, has jumped again to $107 a barrel. This is just a spike with any luck but planning now may save you some money in the future. Toyota does make an awd prius. Shouldn't be too difficult for some of you enterprising types to make a long travel kit.

CA will be 8-10 by end of year.....the world market will get back to normal pretty quickly....LOTS of supply out there....once the Iranians settle down they will pump the crap out of it. We have destroyed pretty much All of their Navy, Air Force and Launchers....Once the kill the new guy, things will change FAST. 1773029650137.png1773029576331.png

OPEC doesn’t want $100/barrel oil, makes fracking oil profitable. Once Hormuz settles down, prices will.

Until the refineries shut down, that is.

Pulled into Westmorland Friday night and diesel was $5.49, Sunday morning it was $5.99. Total BS

$3.39+/- here in Kingman. 3.15 at an Exxon across town from me.
Gone up about 20-30 cents the last week.

regular 91oct was $4.89 when I filled up Saturday

Bring Back Battle ships......... nothing says Eff you like a broadside from a battleship.

Battleships were bad azz in their day. But unfortunatley they would be virtually useless in today's warfare. Those big guns only have an effective range of about 24 miles. With today's missiles, a battleship would never get close enough to be a threat. Russia had a heavy cruiser taken out by a shoulder fired missile from a beach. Our current Arleigh Burke Class destroyers have far more lethality than a battleship.
