    I had Tom Face do mine. He builds them out of Scotty's Mufflers in San Bernardino. They came out pretty awesome.

    LS9 gaskets from GM Performance or Cometic Multi Layer Steel. You can choose the thickness of the Cometic to help with CR.

    I had the same setup... my LS6 with 243 heads had the Howards Cams American Muscle 197245-12. It had awesome low-end torque. If I wasn't going TT I would have kept it.

    I removed my stock PCV and ran it to a Motion Raceworks dual 10AN can. One from each valve cover.

    Dude, you got so lucky that broken rod didn't take out the block! You're further along than I am... I'm hoping to get my block back from the machine shop today! Also, with the smaller chamber cc on the 243 heads your CR will be higher (about 10.44:1). You will need to look at your tune again...

    For those of you in AZ, Midwest Family Mutual will write sand cars up to 150K, with up to 600hp. The kicker is that they require you to package it with Auto, Home, and Umbrella. They also do not write directly to the public. You have to use a broker.

    Wheel Spacers

    I used a 0.5" spacer on my car to prevent the tires from rubbing the shocks. 3 seasons with no issues.
