Really? I didn't know anyone could get double digits towing a toyhauler, gas or diesel, with grades involved. Must be those fancy new 10 spd trans.MPG in the low teens

I average 12-13 towing to Glamis and back. 15k lb 5th wheel behind me. I cruise around 65 most of the way. 2011 Duramax that the emissions fell off of one day.Really? Just reread my post, it’s confusing as shit on that.Really? I didn't know anyone could get double digits towing a toyhauler, gas or diesel, with grades involved. Must be those fancy new 10 spd trans.
It’s because we have to import most of our oil from the Middle East. CA represents more than half of the country’s net imports from there.Riding back from Oklahoma, gas under $3.50 a gal till I hit CA. It was $7.45 in Needles. FU Newscum. We are getting bent over.
I get what you're trying to say but please explain how I can go 1 mile across the river and pay under $4 for the exact same gas. I'm willing to bet whoever delivers the gas to those stations in Needles probably crosses the river and delivers to the stations in AZ too. It’s because we have to import most of our oil from the Middle East. To summarize: rather than pump oil out of the Central Valley and and coast and either let it roll downhill or just pump it a few miles over there…
We pay people who call us infidel and would like nothing more than our destruction, who drive it here in ships that make more pollution EACH than the entire fleet of CA vehicles.
All in the name of saving the environment.
Bakersfield is NOT the place to get fuel on that trip. Did you stop at a Chevron a few feet away from the 99?!Bakersfield,Ca Ouch!!!
we decided to make a spring break Yosemite trip during the highest gas prices in US history
Whooohoo!!

You were comparing OK (who gets its fuel from refineries that get their crude from Canada or the Permian Basin) to CA in your post I responded to.I get what you're trying to say but please explain how I can go 1 mile across the river and pay under $4 for the exact same gas. My average for towing my 5700 out of 45000 miles is 9.4 mpg.Just reread my post, it’s confusing as shit on that.
EMPTY MPG in the low teens. My bad.
