For the price of a side by side you can own a piece of history. The pencil drawings are the creation of Gil George (Funco Founder). My wife rode in my Gen 4 Funco with the bypass shocks and said she was ready to get a new Hustler type car but Gen 4, she sat down with Gil and asked him to do something different. She wanted to have swooping sides, instead of the mini van look. The drawings are how Gil originally designed it. We had Funco do a complete redo in 2021 and added a big boy Subaru Outfront stroker motor. It has been detuned to run on pump. Gobs of torque, put it in third, lug it down, stomp on the gas and you are shot to the top of the dune. You could have John change the injectors for E85, retune, and make over 600 hp. Engine was built to make big horsepower. Has a rebuilt Mendeola 2D with a couple of trips on it. This was the first departure from the mini-van and is a one off car. They ultimately made the roof lines taller to make the design a 4 seater. But this car started the modern design. Was upgraded to add a hood, enclosed the front, added doors, fire suppression system, updated shocks, Lavorsi gauges, in dash air bag controller, new paddles, new front tires and a Parker pumper. When Gil was inducted into the Offroad hall of fame, this car was on the shirt Funco made to honor him (it was blue on red originally). Still the most fun car I have ever driven! Currently registered as Funco and have pink in hand. Like New $59,000. 909-217-4780
