Be careful who you deal with. A common tactic is to receive a PM from a member asking to contact someone else for the item you want to buy or are selling. They may use a similar member name that you are familiar with but its not the actual member. These are most often scams and can lead to loss of money with no items. If you receive a questionable PM from a member, feel free to contact a Moderator or Admin for advise or to deal with any potential scammer.

Have a great week.

AND, if you do get such a PM, like I did, they will refer you to their private email address. AS above, they'll say Jsmith has your thingy contact him at their email, which they happily provide for you. Before you contact Jsmith via email, note how many times the person contacting you has posted....it should be a bunch. Send J, who is a legit person (via their 592 msgs posted) a PM looking for info directly and don't be surprised if he/she says, I don't know what you talking about (Willis).

Thievery should never be tolerated. Good job rooting it out.

Does this said Spanish man have papers?

Is he still avaiable?

OHhhhhh, one more thing....I was looking for a Nissan Z24 engine to a V-Dub Type I adapter. They had one for, like, $175. My mind instantly went into, I've got to get this mode, as it is $300 cheaper than new....

At the last bit, I sent them an email asking for a picture. They sent me a picture of an adapter for a Weber carb to a Nissan.
I says dat ain't it (I still wasn't convinced, as they could have more than one goody for sale).
Deh says, what does it look like? Man, did I hear a train whistle....Danger Will Robinson!!!
