Got a great deal on some 17” wheels for my sandcar. My car needs 2” backspace wheels, and its impossible to find 17” wheels with that spacing. What are peoples experience with wheel spacers like this? Setup is around 600hp, s4, 934 micro stubs.

With the 3.5” backspace on the wheels they rub against my coilover. Ill need probably 1 1/4” to clear.

Bad idea?

Not a bad idea. I have used them without issues. However, it will put a little more stress on your wheel bearings. Make sure everything is torqued down properly including the spacers which will require you to remove your wheels.

I am gonna have to change tires every trip to get into my toyhauler anyway so will be able to constantly check torque

Would the extra stress be any worse then with 2"bs wheels and no spacers? I don't think so. The distance from the outer bead to the wheel bearing would be the same as a 3.5"bs and a q.5" spacer.
