Hey guys so as the title implies im looking for something to keep water out of my electric connections. I went thru a good size
Puddle some weeks ago and my electric power steering went out. Im thinking dielectric grease and maybe wrap everything in f4 tape? Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to swap em out for Weather Pack. Practice on some other wires first. There are plenty of YouTube vids that will show you how to do it. 👍🏼

Ok so the thing is the receptacles are on the power steering motor control box.

That unit isn’t really meant to get wet, there’s a few places water can get in to the brain besides the connectors. Maybe a splash shield would be better here. If you think it’s the connectors (which I believe are unsealed) you could solder the wires on and pot with epoxy. 2B4BB986-9C0D-469E-AD02-0F66AC0C9830.png

This is going to be the easiest option for casual water (washing, splashing, etc). I wouldn't wrap the motor in tape since it needs some passive cooling.

Otherwise, a shield on top to prevent direct water contact would help a ton. Beware of sharp edges since your legs are likely there and wouldn't appreciate slamming into it in a wreck.
