What happens when you give an inch

I find it interesting in our world today how easily some people give away their inch. Now that inch can be any number of things from freedoms, to access, to choice but in the end if you are willing give up your inch “they” are going to take a mile.
 

Now “they” have grown smarter over the years while we have grown dumber.  They have learned not to take the full mile when we give the inch, instead they start slowly and distract us and incentivize us to give away the mile. It always ends the same though when you give them an inch they will take a mile. 
 

I tried to take my family to Lake Pleasant for a camping trip last weekend. Something I have done for years, something my dad did with me as a child. Only when we got to the lake I was told we are no longer allowed to camp on the shore. It was closed 2 years ago due to “Covid” but after it was closed they realized how much cleaner it was and now don’t know if “they” will ever let beach camping return.  It isn’t the end of the world…really it’s just an inch. unfortunately I know where this road goes and it does not end well for people who love the outdoors, love to creat memories with their families, bonds with their children. This road only ends well for the people who like to see the pretty pictures or drive by the forests on the way to their timeshares. It’s only an inch for now but once anti access learns to use fear to close temporarily what they know they want closed forever our inch turns into a mile. 
 

if you are a fan of Yellowstone(if not watch it and watch it now) always remember.

But yes, the whole "foot in the door" theory.  If you give an inch, be prepared to give up the whole thing.  Evolution and forward progress is one thing.  Everything changes but not all change is good.

I have never accepted the whole ghay agenda as I knew it would only be the beginning.  Now we have trans this, trans that.  Gender fluid, pronouns and the constant social programming of our kids, adults and everyone they can get to or force to listen.  

BLM (Black live matter)....all bullshit.  It's nothing but a ploy of reverse racism and socialism.  They also do nothing for the Black community as they pocket the money and have pushed for nothing about awareness and correction in their own communities.

ANYTHING liberal...nope, nope, NOPE.

Shoot...look at government now.  The levels and expansion of controls and monitoring of the people is unprecedented now.  The IRS expansion absolutely scares me.

The company I fly for in the Grand Canyon has very stick rules about the area we allowed to land and allow people to have lunch and walk around and view the canyon. 

In the tour tutoral the guest listen to explain the rules about the landing area on the rim of the canyon about 2 minutes before we land.  They is always the 1 or 2 people that toss their trash on the ground and are pissing/shitting in bushes.  These are the same people who think they are previagled and try to exit the helocopter before the blades are still turning.  Them when they are told to do something I get the Mean Mug look of "Eff off" old timer.  

I know im am in a older generation and sould like I am "get off my grass" guy, but todays youts are not the same as the previous generation.  

We are looking are rights slowly but surely becuase of asshats.

I've reached the age where I fear where this nation is heading....a fair segment of today's youth are clueless.

Yosemite closed for COVID-19, its only partially reopened, certain things we loved and used remain closed....there is not justification, gave an inch, lost stuff in the process.

 
Never heard of Bar, we have a couple different spots called Eagle and Guano.

The Bar 10 is on the north rim in the AZ strip, they have their own strip. they fly customers up from the river to the ranch and then out by plane to get home.  Pretty cool set up.

I believe western river expeditions rafting offers longer tours a stay at the bar 10. 

 
We staged there for a Sxs trip with Papabear....Reed.  It was Awesome.
