The Prescott dream is still alive. Been looking at land, some have wells, some don't.  Prefer to buy a house but would like to stake my claim sooner than later! So maybe a lot instead.

Google machine says $27 - $58 a foot - I know there are a lot of factors involved.

Just curious if anyone here has had a water well drilled recently or maybe you are a driller!

I know down in the Phoenix area the two well drillers I have done a lot of business with and had good luck with both would be would either be Beeman's or Skytech. Not sure if they get up into that neck of the woods.

Thank you, sent an email to both.

Some restrictions are being placed on new wells. Our home area owns their own water company. Might do some checking with local water board/agency's.

I drilled one. 300ft for $9800.00 Had to go to a 1000ft for drinkable water. Didn't do it. too much money. My water has a lot of iron in it. I'll use for irrigation and pond purposes. Peace

There are a couple Well companies in Wickenburg that would probably drive up the hill for a job.

So do you have city water for drinking?

Spend the money the first time on a great pump,  our deep well pump is about 15 years old now,  it is setting records,  about every 3 years the topside pump motor goes out, it take care of the high pressure,  last time i replace the motor my self, was pretty easy, we share the well with 4 other people,  that makes life a lot easier,  We also have a 2000 gallon tank and 2 Blatter tanks,   more Blatter tanks the better, it will keep the pump from cycling a lot less,

Let us know what you find out. I'm interested in property that needs a well but utilities add up fast.
