You have probably seen all my disasters on the saturday threads, the safe disaster, the airbnb disasters etc. Well this one probably takes the cake.
I have an 03 tahoe we bought new in 03, its been a spare vehicle for about 3 years, just sits in storage and if someone in the family's car breaks down, needs to leave it at the airport, maybe a hail storm coming, we pull it out to keep our "better" vehicles safe or whatever. its just a spare but it was paid for, I've done all the work to it ever, and it costs nothing to keep.
so anyways I put it up for sale on market place sunday night. Its an 03 tahoe with a 4.8, 206k miles, etc. runs great. had a girl message me she wants to see it, blowing me up on when tey can come see it today. so i set it for 3pm today. I show up at storage where i keep it, they show up in a POS honda civic with a fart can. both get out, wearing ariat boots with pants tucked in, he has his duck dynasty beard, both are probably mid 20s. 4 kids she says. she has maybe 3 teeth. so i'm like great.
i'm facing north, he's standing directly in front of me facing south. behind him is a day care we share a fence with and kids running all over. he has his hands behind his back and we are just chatting. then i hear this noise, wasn't really loud but i thought one of those damn kids threw a rock at the building and it fell and hit the ground beside me. I jokingly said someones shooting at us. I look down at his right pocket and its blown out, he had a 9mm pistol in his pocket that went off, shot down his leg and out his knee of his jeans.
I said damn man you just shot yourself, and he says no i didn't, i pointed to his pants and the big hole and I said are you bleeding?? He said no i don't think so, then he gets this look on his face and says here man take it I don't want it and hands me the gun from his pocket, so I drop the clip, clear the chamber and give it to his girl and said here, get this POS out of here before he kills someone.
Long story short he was ok, kids were ok, powder burns on his leg, ruined his new jeans, but they bought the tahoe lmmfao.
this stuff only happens to me
