Where is the best place to buy brakes right now?

Looking for a full kit, drums, bearings, backing plates with everything assembled and self-adjusting.

I have found them at Southwest for $360 an axle with Timken bearings.

Any place cheaper?

You doing the work yourself? I use a trailer shop in San Bernadino near the 215/60 for my fleet. Just had new brakes and 1 drum and wheel bearings repacked on my triple axle and it was around $800. For that price it's not me doing them myself.

If you're near San Diego, I've bought stuff from Peck's Heavy Friction on the advice of a trailer dealer and I was pretty surprised at the good prices. There's one in Escondido and one in El Cajon.
