Happened to hear about it on the radio. Watched the image of it crash. Trippy stuff man.

LOL, I used to get it to one last little asteroid then go zoom around as fast as I could but would usually end up crashing into it.

:lmao:
That is how you racked up the big points. Leave the one little astroid then zoom around and kill all the flying saucers that came out.

Anyone find it coincidental this thread was posted was very close to 4:20pm?

Havnt read anything but was told they launched it a year or so ago and even back then knew it would crash into the asteroid at 4:15 pacific time. Well planned so the team could take a smoke break to celebrate 5 mins later.

I was washing a little 90 quad we let a close person borrow during the asteroid bonk. It looks like the seat go roasted by a rocket. Its black and cracked. For real it looks like it got to 150F degrees. Ive left lots of bikes outside never seen a seat turn that color in only 2-3 years. I believe it gets covered by a tarp. Could that be forming an even worse greenhouse effect maybe? Metal parts are rusted too. Seems strange for something parked in Yucaipa. Wasnt sun bathing in Pismo. It was covered in some of that silty high desert Big Rock dirt. Maybe that stuff helped speed up corrosion.

and in 3 months they are going to say...well.... it didn't do chit to that little rock.... if we can drag the moon into the asteroids way we should be ok.

Bad Ass ! Effing NASA is playing real life Asteroids . . .

You remember that scene in Independence day when they nuked it and all cheered then the dust cleared???? Just sayin....it's cool we hit it, but that is space stuff we're talking here...you know predators and aliens and all...you don't think they've seen this before from other planets....
