I try not to watch the news, but its everywhere. Russia and Ukraine. North VS South Korea. Now Russia and China gaining strength together, USA and Japan doing flights tests, NATO gathering together and bringing in Finland and whomever. The world peace keepers but who wins in the end. Maybe the teleprompter.. Just a bunch of crap. I can for see this whole world getting blown up at the end. I know I will do what ever is best for USA and my Family first. But where does this really go. Technology is so advanced they could just hit a button and bye bye this area and that area.

Eventually I am guessing, Russia is talking about taking Poland next and they are in NATO

“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

Unfortunately, we've had a long run of good times.  Payment will be due.

So True

That stuff is all well and good, but nukes take away the need to invade to really eff things up.
One or two electromagnetic pulse bombs in the atmosphere over shipping ports and large metro areas will decimate the electrical grid.. No Juice, & things are 3rd world in 24-48 hrs. Desperation makes leaders and people do fanatical things.

The vey same implies tossing nukes back the other direction.

This isn't 1942.  Each country that was targeted would know sht was headed there way with ample time to defend and return fire.  Neither country loses/wins.

The threat of many sunrises on the same horizon in a single day is low...IMO

Cyber is the only real threat.

I don’t see a large scale world war as being eminent. Russia drastically underestimated the world response to their invasion of Ukraine. If the pressure stays on them they will take what they got, claim victory and stop soon. The rest of the world is watching too. The response to Russia gives China a moment of pause on Taiwan. North Korea is a wild card but right now they have to figure out how to deal with COVID as they just joined that party.

My comments are intended as non-partisan, just my observations.

I try to not watch the news other than market updates and I really try not to worry over things of which I have absolutely zero control over. Too many media outlets feeding off of the fears of people. Hell, I even pretty much forgot about Covid until the wife came down with it 2 days ago.  :thumb:  Be present for the loved ones around you, that's what you can control, worrying about a possible war takes time and thought away from the immediate circle. Cheers!

Remember the last time russia invaded poland? Back then we were arming and funding china to fight japan and china was laughing because their mentality was “let the huns fight the huns” what did china do right after ww2? fight the US with our own weapons in korea. These azz clowns never learn

The big issue is iran and north korea both are months away from having nukes and no doubt aligning with russia and china. Wild card is india, and they already are indicating they dont support america in ukraine. Russia hasn’t really committed to the fight in ukraine. Very well could be a faint meant to let america over commit and over extend and even deplete its reserve of munitions not to mention its sowing national disorder here. Could be a very smart deceptive pre-emptive move. Not to mention from what i hear its stirring nationalism in russia. Russians see the west fighting a proxy war. Not the shame the media is falsely painting. We are playing with fire when we should be minding our own business. Biden is no Churchill
