Veterans day thing...

My mothers brother & his wife did the whole genealogy thing on that side of the family & still finds some stuff every once in a while. He lives in Kansas again where he spent most of his life & most of that side of the family is from there.  anyway, the local paper did a thing for Vets day & he submitted 2 pictures to put into it.  Im not sure why he didn't give them his (he was Air Force.  Super Spy sheet, very cool stuff with Russian & stuff).  Anyway he mailed the paper to me, I thought it was kind of cool & that some folks around here would dig it.

He has taken our history back to Ireland and England.   We were early settlers in the NE.  He found graves and records and stuff.  Pretty cool sleuthing. 

I was not aware until I got the history for both sides of the family, but if you combine both sides of my family, we have had somone in the military pretty much constantly, all the way back to the 1500s (English, Irish and US.).

As it turns out Ireland and England.  No wonder I like guinness and scotch so much......
