Been using Uber for drivers and Uber Eats for food for sometime now. Drivers .. 95%.. but my last 4 out of 6 Uber Eats orders have been.

1. Never delivered

2. Never delivered

3. Delivered

4. Delivered, total order was soaking wet like someone took a garden hose to it, destroyed (and it wasn't raining).

5. Delivered

6 Never delivered, driver takes my call and says, 'left it out of your gate cause it was locked.' OK, what color was my gate? He says black.. I'm like no I have a white picked fence, 3 feet high, has no lock.. puts me on mute, then hangs up. Won't respond to my return calls or when I finally figured out how to call Uber, their calls either... I'm like, you guys need to start firing these fools. .. but what's the point.. big dumb corporation.

Solution, join Post Mates? .. I doubt it,.. I think it's the general 'I don't care about work environment.' pervasive in our society.. .. wasn't planning on leaving for dinner, but guess I'm off to a restaurant to get fed cause it's been a long week and I don't feel like cooking...

Too bad for them.. I spend quite a bit between food and rides per year.. thousands.. maybe $5k cause I won't drive wasted.. . So I'll just take my business elsewhere .. or just stop using their services... spending time on the app/phone to get my money back doesn't cover it. 

(Stupid) rant over.

I’ve never used Uber eats but I’ve had good luck with DoorDash.  It could definitely be area dependent though. Your situation sounds effed

I quit using Uber eats when a car full of dudes drove up and handed me my bags of food. They had smirks on their face and I went in the house and threw it in the trash. Doordash has started a suck over the last 3 or 4 months. Grubhub's the only one with the slightest amount of professionalism.

 
That Karen video is classic…. Pure angry entitlement attitude.

No matter if she inherited $100 million or is broke the woman will always be a miserable person.

Dude, you just ruined UberEats for me before I have even used it...

Shit like that wakes me up at night...yuck.

 
So the little Sandwich shop around the corner from the office where I get my lunch at regularly I have gotten to know the owners pretty well.

One day they were telling me that there has been more than one time where this one female driver who works or has worked for all of the services has come in gotten the food and never delivered it.  The people call the shop and they have to tell them it left with the service they chose, their involvement ends there.  This POS even did it twice to the same people.  Guess she changed her name on the app.

About three days after they told me this story this nice little old guy who runs the shop who I never hear get upset at anybody goes off at this lady as soon as she walks in. Throws her ass out of the shop, she tells him about the order she is there to pick up and he doesn't care tells her he will call the police if she doesn't leave now. 

I guess it was the same person who had ripped off all of these people and had done it the day before even. 

 
I have been left stranded thanks to Uber and Lyft. I would never trust one of these hire anyone companies to touch my food.

Wow, the only guy in America who has never once ordered a pizza. 

The uber eats, Door Dash my GF loves to use on the nights I go to Happy Hour with friends and she doesn't want to cook.  Me have no desire to do that, but having a pizza or Chinese or whatever delivered from the place that makes it, No problem.  There is a difference

I have ordered a pizza, I usually pick it up. I have never used any of the Uber eats type “services”. I’ve ridden in Uber twice. Once my wife and I were out for a walk and it started raining, so we went to a restaurant and ate and ordered an Uber.  The other time we took the kids to see an movie and for fun ordered an Uber black. 

Honestly, to me it just seems gross, one step above a city bus and I’m not exactly what you would call a germaphobe LOL

 
I have never used any food delivery service, except ordering Pizza.  I don't trust them and I also think it is pure laziness, or I am just cheap?

I use Uber and Lyft all the time when traveling for work or out going to bars, way easier than renting a car or driving drunk..............but lately all the uber and Lyft cars haven't been very clean like they used to be, and the drivers are very nice as well since Covid came into our lifes.

 
ok,... I went to sushi last night with the wife and kids.. 2 bottles of large Saki and a large beer... kept running the booze.. ordered McDonalds at like 11:30, got it.. today.. ordered some Chinese for a late lunch and EffING AGAIN.. they didn't deliver it... 

.. Grub Hub (and Lyft) here I come.. Again,.. it's not the APP.. it's the workforce.. lazy . .. decided to eat it... don't care..?

Eff it.. I'll just wait for dinner.. haven't  eaten today (not like I need to).

PS. This makes them 3 for 8 success rate (last 8 orders, before, probably 97% success rate).. Yeah.. if I was 7 of 8 (products delivered to my customer's on time).. I'd have ZERO customers... when will I learn... eff me once.. blah .. blah.. blah
