Is there a way to change your nose cone seal and bushing without removing the nose cone

They just press in so I would think that it could be done. Never tried it, grab it with some pliers and twist it while you pull. A little heat might help if its stuck. Rewarm the nosecone and tap the new seal home. Also, look for any burs around the shifter connection that could nick the new seal and knock them off with a small file

on my 002, it started sliding out & my trans guy said just give it a twist & shove it back on.  I did & it did.
