Seems to be standard Toyota fare. I saw a Tundra in Poway (where we know for a fact has no non-whites/Asians in it) with almost the exact same light setup (offroad bulbs in all stock housings and Beijing Designs pods on the A-pillars) driving around on suburban streets (with street lights) last weekend. When I flashed my Jeep's Beijing Designs lights to remind him, he turned on his 40" light bar. Okay buddy, I think you're missing the point.

To the guy in the picture's credit: he is carrying fuel, so maybe he wants to make sure he's seen...? :ROFLMAO:
 
hell i would have got a ticket or pulled over at least. i will say they are still damn bright in the daylight lol. i was on my boat and rv storages property doing a night check, rolled to the gate with my light bar on, and turned it off. i pulled out and the cop flipped a U and pulled me over. said I was using it on the street. nope, I turned it off before I got to the gate. he wanted to search the vehicle. go ahead, I told you why im here, he said never mind and let me go.
 
Help me understand the Overland gig, why in the hell do I want a tent on top of my truck? I mean you can throw a tent down on the ground easily and save thousands of dollars, and then still have use of your truck all day. Are they afraid of little critters on the ground.

I have a rooftop tent, bought used for cheap post-covid when everyone was selling outdoorsy shit now that the bars were open. It goes on the trailer or tow pig for when we have a base camp type setup. They are super comfortable compared to a ground tent...

But NFW am I putting that 200lb beast on TOP of my Jeep while out rock crawling... That's just stupid.

I fell out a top bunk in a Weekend Warrior, that shit hurt.

I'm NOT falling out/off a Truck Top Tent, it's even higher and outdoors where people will see me a laugh/point fingers LOL

Even the idea that I have to climb a shitty arse ladder to go to bed or crawl down to take a piss in the middle of the night doesn't sound like a good option, but heck they look cool.

Whoa. Hey now.

I do have a tow rig. 178,000 miles of a tow rig.

Only mods are Bilstein 6112/5160 combo and EBC brakes. It only gets Adam's or Griot's products from Autozone.

Just doesn't tow 30% of my trailers. 🤣
