Has anyone ever ran 36 blasters on 17” wheels in the rear and 15” wheels up front with the 10.75x15 front tires? I dont really think my front end is stout enough to run the big 12.50 front tires but i want to run the 36 blasters in the rear. Worried about it looking a little stink bug stance wise curious if anyone has done it or has pictures

I bet you that there isn't a big dif in height between 10.75s and 12.50....like 2", maybe.

I don't mean to be mean...but are you in Middle School? Then who gives a Rat's Pitutie what anyone thinks.....as long as it goes, that is what matters.

Haha i couldnt care less what others think just trying to see a picture to see if i would like it myself before i spent the money

What transaxle are you running ? If your front is questionable, that doesn’t sound like a car w a sequential. 2d’s do not like big tires

The Funcos run different wheels, 15'' front 17'' rear, you really can not tell by looking at them

or if you want a big tire, Sandcraft has a 36'' style paddle on a 15'' rim

What front spindle are you running?
Right now its a combo but probably going to upgrade to a 2” hollow. My main concern with the big tires is it has the OG smaller SU steering rack with charlynn power steering. Do the bigger tires put more stress on the steering rack or mostly the leverage on the spindles?

Didnt know that. You’re right i have never noticed when looking at them

If you’re going 2” hollows, you should be safe to run the bigger tires upfront. S4S and you’re good to run the 36’s in the rear. Obviously more wear and tear on the trans with the bigger tires, but plenty of S4S cars out there running 36’s

My first car had the Charlynn setup and when I went to the 10.75’s I noticed no difference in steering. My buddy at the time went with the 12.5 Same steering… only issue he ever had was with his spindle because he didn’t have 2” spindles.

Trevor....I'm sorry, I probably came off sounding like an ass.

The 12.5s are 11# heavier, 1.5" wider (9.5 vs 11), and 4" taller (making your front-end 2" higher/lower). Those #'s are from the STU website.

Something that hasn't been mentioned, the 12.5s are gonna float over the sand more and be easier to push....so, in some ways, they'll be easier on your front-end.
