I was wondering if anyone of you could have a contact in the UK ?   I am looking for someone that could pick up a part for me and prepare it for shipping to US  i could provide the postage via FED Ex.  the issue is that the seller (from EBAY.UK) really doesn't want to ship to the US, i would pay for their time.

What is it ?   its a 95lb radiator for my excavator.  the unit is over $4k in the US and he has one that looks almost new for $650  no one else even comes close.  JCB is not strong in the US so most of the places that have a radiator are in china, Turkey, Russia, etc

this is specifically the location of the part:  Ilkeston, Derby, United Kingdom

Hit up Urclever on the board. He has a business partner there and might be able to help.

I loved my JCB but finally sold it for this very reason.

Can the dude in Elsinore build you a radiator?

If the above doesn’t work I may have a connection for you.

I have family in the UK, call me if you need to get it set up.

Alex

I have someone 27 miles from there. May do it for a fee

I have a MTB buddy who is an F1 executive with a vast network of people an a few assistants.  He always responds to my texts. If the others don't work out, hmu.

update:

Urclever is getting me hooked up!!  thanks Tony

Its interesting to me to find out what people do for a living.  Urclever manufactures airplane nose pieces , one of four companies in the world.  i love this community

it will cost $90 to ship from the purchase location to Tonys business partner.  he will inspect and make sure packaging is good.  then include it on his next delivery to the US (San Jose, Ca)

im sure there will be some charges there and maybe some customs.  then if timely, Tony is coming from San Jose to OC on july 10th and can get them close to me for a pick up-- Wow

Details:  my old radiator was completely mickey mouse.  it was re"cored" at some point but 1" less wide so the radiator was only bolted in by one side,  it sagged and wore a hole in the bottom and the huge metal shroud didnt fit either and was slightly modified.  Well i know why they did this.  The radiator in the US is $4300!  i found one in Turkey and Russia for $1500-2000 plus shipping,  then i found a guy in the UK with New Old Stock, 4 of them for $650 each but shipping would be an additional $900!  this is where Tony comes in (Urclever)

Thanks guys for your help,  i am changing out all main o-rings at the control valve and a few 5500psi hoses that go from pump to control unit, i had to pull off 28 body pieces to get there so decided to send them all in for school bus yellow sand blasting and powder coat!  just having fun

Thanks for the offer.  My post may be a little confusing.  I didnt want Tony to have to go out of his way to get them to my shop coming from San Jose to(Buena Park) so if he brings them down to OC i will have someone go to where he is and pick them up and bring to my shop!
