Interesting pursuit. I have ridden in my daughters car and they are no joke. Online says 155 mph top speed. I wonder how fast he is going when the perp pulls away and then he catches up. Looks like this should have been handled differently. Stop the guy at the dead end road for one. Or do a pit. Certainly some deadly speeds. https://fb.watch/dI-vzO5YsE/

Imagine the pit maneuver gets very dangerous for the officer at higher speeds.

That cop was cool as a cucumber singing tunes while driving high speed.

V6 Mustang though. I’ve had, err,  acceleration tests, from a 45 roll with P85d Teslas, pretty evenly matched to 100, not as good beyond that, and super slow after a couple of runs:

Model S Performance is definitely quicker than a Y

I was wondering whether the Mustang driver was going to blow the engine or the Tesla's battery was going to run down first.

Pit is only allowed 35 mph or under unless deadly force is authorized. At least when I was still working, that was the rule (in Cali) other departments may vary but that is what we taught at the time.
