Holy cow.

Those Rv;s in storage are going to melt.

Was trying to find the historical record high temp out there.

Anyone know?

Yea........... inside the RV's are going to be nuts..., especially in the darker colored ones.

Checked weather.com.  Didn't look too abnormal.  Am I missing something?

I am hoping the heat helps seal up all the cracks in the walls by liquidating the glue and having it ooooze.

:scared:   gotta get out there for some sand fun in the heat!!!!

Its a good idea to take a few 5 Gallon buckets and leave them in the RV when its hot like this!!!! The AZ peeps that store RVs outside deal with this a lot.

SUCKS!  Controlled climate enclosed storage is the best.....Someday my compound will have that!

you be surprised how fast those buckets of water are gone.  under a week and they are dry as a bone.  I stopped worrying about it. I plug the Moho in now and keep one air on 88 degrees.  try to shade it as much as possible.  I put 20 gals in a trailer and filled the bathtub one year.  I went back 3 weeks later and everything was dry as a bone even the tub.

Had to make a bonsai run to storage last July, it was 121*.

You could guess Glamis must have been REALLY close to this historical record...

The record high temperature in Brawley was 123.98 degrees on August 16, 1903

Official world record remains 134°F at Furnace Creek in 1913

Eff all that nonsense. :sun:

what does the bucket of water do?  Does it keep it cooler or just keep moisture in everything?? (or both?).

We did a trip last August (?) and it was 119 turning onto Gecko.  It was pretty shitty.  My intake manifold tore apart.  Thank god I noticed at camp.  Must have ripped on the way up from the canal.

The Az and Vegas guys are just sitting back and giggling at you softies barking about 110* temps...LOL

I'm honestly hoping we see 120+ for a few weeks this summer.  Drive all the "Hi, I'm Bob. We just moved here from California" MFr's back home.  Probably move some of the homeless back to Seattle and Portland.

Thanks for reminding me I need to put the reflective screens in my windows for the summer.

If your concerned about the wood drying out in your trailer I sure hope you don't lose much sleep over it because the wood in your attic is getting dried out just as much if not more and I doubt that has kept you up one night in your life.

Sure thing.  That house doesn't have a pool.  It will be back on the market by Labor day.
