as you know AEM is out of the Honda game

we are doing our first stand alone LINK Monsoon ecu for a customer in Montana

two questions:  this is a j32 motor and there is a 2 wire sensor (probably heat) behind the left cam gear going into the head

what is its purpose?

the alternator has 4 pins going into it, anyone have a pin out or how to wire this alternator?  does it require an idiot light to excite?

The first sensor I believe is a cam positioning sensor. When you take off the cam gear you can see the sensor runs right in line with the teeth.

For the Alternator, let me look around and see what I can find.

@John@Outfront  The two wire one is a secondary thermo-switch.  Don't worry about it.

The Alternator will need a field wire, and has the option of a dummy light.  But, they are not the same.

Do you the plug for the alternator?

The blk/yel is field wire.  Blu/wht woud ground a dummy light if they wanted one.

Looking at the specs of the Monsoon, guessing you'll be doing waste spark and batch fire?

Are you going to use the stock cam/crank sensors?
