I have owned both and I believe both are good cars. That being said I would lean towards a Sand Limo, for me the limo has more room for getting in and out, better steering geometry, Joe is still in business Gary is only building an occasional car for friends although he will return phone calls and is helpful if your having issues, Joe is close by in SoCal and Gary is in Oregon. I also like the fact the limo has a trailing arm and is not 5 link, for me less maintenance and I believe it handles a bit better.
I also would not back up from a Revo have a friend who has one snd it’s a good car but like you said you would spend more coins.Good luck to your friend in the search for a car.
