Years ago, I noticed that when you look at a new truck, or car, the pamphlets don't say nut'N about several things that I am interested in....like the gear rations in the trans, and the axles. I guess that it is not important to most people.
I was just looking at the Honda website. I am looking at Honda Pioneers and they didn't have any of that information, or cut-away diagrams showing how the valve set-up and engine internals look. They also didn't have any specs on HP & Torque. Back in the olden days, they'd be showing off their hemi-engines and OHC set-up.
Soooo, why is it that what used to be sought after information, when buying a car/vehicle/motorcycle/atv, is not easily available now?
As a side point....2 weeks ago I was at Bass-Pro, and the salesman didn't even know how many cylinders, and if it was water-cooled, about the SXS sitting on the floor (When he popped the hood, it clearly had a radiator).
Am I odd-ball?
