Two cars collided one on Sand Highway traveling toward pad three and the other one coming out of camp pad4 four heading toward olds and they just didn’t see each other somehow

Was going to meet up with dune goat, and never made it. Accident on sand highway as well.
That was the saddest funeral I've ever been to.

A Fallbrook guy? So sad, I went to his Facebook page, we have tons of mutual friends, in the end it is a small world. Never want to see this happen.
Cross traffic in the dunes (actually between the dunes and Gecko) is always my biggest fear.

Does anyone actually know what happened, I was told yesterday that both buggy drivers knew each other and were just messing around in front of camp, is this true??? I am trying to avoid the Facebook hearsay.
