This weekend my buddy got his enclosed trailer with Buggy stolen from storage in the Palm Desert area. Not sure which location yet, he just called me devasted, so I am posting. Keep your eyes open. I hate tweekers.

Trailer is a 24" Universal

Buggy is an 2004 Extreme Double Throwdown LS1 2d.

Everything is super clean, everything is polished on everything, owner is super anal of all of this

Trailer was picked up on Flock Camera at 6:22pm last night at the intersection of Bob Hope Dr and Ramon (near I-10), give us a good idea on direction and when it was stolen.
 
Last seen being towed by a silver lifted Silverado in Palm Springs / Cathedral City yesterday.

Good to have police friends and Flock cameras.
 
If I would guess, it might be up in Yucca Valley at this point....or still in Cathedral City area??
 
Damn, this would be frustrating as hell. No GPS trackers on the stuff?

No, this guy is old school, no computer, flip phone, retired, completely devasted. Most likely his dune days will be over. I have known him since we were 7 yrs old, our parents took us to the desert back in 1974 or so.
 
Do you happen to know where they were stolen from? I store my stuff in palm desert also.

Thanks Jeff, most likely under-insured. If Ronnie doesn't get it back, I am sure his sand days are over, full time jeeper probably.

i always like the idea of removing all lug nuts except two on each wheel while in storage, then if they take it, it won't be long before the trailer is losing tires and hopefully the truck is still attached to it when it can't move anymore
 
Effing thieves...I get so pissed when I hear this stuff!

Now I have guys telling me they have info, for $500 they know something. Scam artist everywhere. I told one guy, I will pay him $5k after I confirm where the trailer is, sent me some address, but no trailer there, thus no money.
 
Feel bad for your friend for sure... I would not pay a cent for info out of principle, if the source was a solid stand up person they would not request money for it in the first place. Hope its found quickly!
 
That sucks. Big time.... sorry to hear. Stuff out there ends up in desert hot springs, or down in coachella. Hot spots for douche bags. I'm always looking at parts for sale, if I see anything I will post back on here
