Anyone ever rebuild an old manual suspensions unlimited RBP end loas steering rack? Last trip out i started to get some tight spots where it would feel like the steering would kinda lock, then with some force to the steering wheel it would release and act normal. I realized i didnt have boots to protect sand from getting in… dummy me i know just didnt cross my mind because they werent on there since ive had it. Im guessing some sand got in the gears and are binding. I took it apart it seems to be a simple setup, but i cannot get the input shaft out for the life of me. It doesnt look like there is anywhere possible for a snap ring to be holding it in. What am i missing?
