We’re at River Sands in Az.
Pretty good WiFi.
The wife conducting business online slows down quite a bit as the RV park fills up.

Zoom conference won’t work on the park wifi.

So I busted out the Starlink.
Works superb and amazing it works at all.
It’s a new era.

Use it for home internet since there aren’t any good options out here. Regularly in the 3-400mbps range.

Gonna pick up another so we always have connectivity when on our Jeep adventures to hell and gone.

First season having Starlink for Glamis. Makes running my business so much easier.

one of those things that are truly a game changer on top of making your phone actually work there is no reason to have any satellite tv subscriptions that are a pia to turn on and off. we hooked it up to a big jackery and plugged the jackery directly into the generator so it is always on never needs to reboot and everyone in camp is on it. when i run the generator just for a few hours to charge up the house battery's it tops off the jackery at the same time. as far as cost i was paying about 130 for the satellite tv for a minimum of six months just because they were so difficult to make changes to the account making calls and sitting on hold now the starling is about 50 for the cheap plan and about 150 for the unlimited. the 50 plan is enough for me and our family but if we have a big camp it runs out. then you just upgrade the plan on the app for the rest of the month which they prorate. when i put it away you just slide the switch in the app to pause service so easy

First season with it for our camp, went with the standard dish setup. Is anyone running additional wifi network hardware to throw the signal around camp? Couple friends use it too and notice weak signal at times in their mohos.

If you have a 3rd gen, pop the cover off the back of the Starlink router and run another cable to the router of your choice. Turn off wifi and go to bypass mode.

I think I’m in my 3rd season of using it and it’s a huge game changer. Being able to check work emails and take conference calls out in the dunes has been huge.
