I grew up going to the sand drags (and Speedway) at Glen Helen.  Haven't been to a sand drag event since they closed that down.  I still catch a Speedway race in Industry every once in awhile.  Anyone planning on going?

Definitely will. So tell me this...we are drag race fans, but new to sand drags. So I don't understand what all the classes are. I'm not planning to be there all day, but maybe a few hours. When should I go to see the fastest/coolest stuff? What classes should I be looking for on the schedule? I see Saturday has a big chunk of time dedicated to some gambler class, but not sure what that is.

top eliminator this is any combination 2.95 index

a fuel /fast four 4-6 cylinders any fuel any induction. Most are nitro burning Vw 

pro mod is same as top alcohol category except is with a jeep

the remaining classes are all bracket classes and can be any combination
