Damm I have to find a pic and get the light back from Misty.   I am sure people have seen my red tower light.   Huge red led that is mounted on antennas like the 4 towers north of wash 10

forever ago, like mid 2000s this guy camped next to us had this big light up balloon. its was still the best thing i have seen, we called it the moon. no issues finding camp that trip. i dont remember the name but i did find it online back then and it was super expensive. but damn it was awesome.

I am looking for something that NO ONE else has.

If I was to take this literally, I would guess you will have to make something on your own.  I did, but its nothing exotic, just a couple of strings of LED's run up some conduit with clear heat shrink around it.  only cost a few bucks.  the LED's are the ones that come with the remote control & I set it to solid green, no one seems to like that color.  It works gooder enough...

Biggest and so far the best I've seen is the big green ball that's lit up in wash 6.

It's got to be 20 plus ft in diameter and internally illuminated. Filled with helium I'd guess and a good 100ft in the air.

We used to have a lite Balloon until someone didn't tie a very good knot.....................don't want to say names though.  But then again I haven't been on a night ride in a long time.  Nothing good happens out there at night, rumors of zombie's and crocodiles keep us in camp sipping on some great beverages.

How about an old school compass with a needle? I bet no one has one of those these days!
I have one as an app on my phone.  Love to open it up on the ride back from the ledge after dark.  That way when the leader starts circling around to get his bearing I can   .  Funny thing is he is the one without a radio so we just stop after I say "Nope"

Yeah something like that.

I was thinking of some sort of laser setup.
